As a member of the global church, we are called to serve God and to serve others. One of the most practical ways to do so is to use your gifts to volunteer within your local church. We as a church family currently have several opportunities to serve:

Current Needs: Nursery and children’s church

Currently, we do not have a full-time nursery worker for 2nd Service on Sunday mornings. Until we do, we will offer "Open Nursery" for ages up to 5 years old, and the parent/guardian of the child can use the nursery when needed.  

The parent/guardian must be 18 years of age and must remain with the child at all times. Also, the lobby is available and you can view the service from there, we hope to have the service available on-screen in the nursery room in the future as well.  We apologize for this inconvenience. 

The Nursery position is still open if you or someone you know would like to serve and receive a monthly stipend for their service. Also, anyone willing to volunteer, even if it is 1-2 times a month, would be great! Just contact Mike at mike@theparkchurch.com or our SPRC Kerry Weber at kerrykinter@yahoo.com

Children's Church

We are seeking volunteers to serve and teach our children.  This is an incredible opportunity to share Jesus with our next generation. The lessons and activities are easy to prepare and we can include you into the rotation. Please contact Pastor Mike at mike@theparkchurch.com if you are interested. 

Media Team

We are currently in need of volunteers to help with The Park’s Media Team, especially with the shift to virtual connection following the Covid-19 pandemic. We are in need of volunteers to help with the following roles:

  • Putting together the slides for both Sunday services

  • Running the computer during both Sunday services

  • Running the sound during both Sunday services

  • Running the livestream of the contemporary service

Current Giving Opportunity: Guatemala Missions

As the Guatemala mission team gears up for their trip this summer, we are still in need of several items. If you are able to contribute, please bring donations to the church by June 6th! Please contact Jessica Edmonds (jessicaedmonds11@gmail.com) with any questions. We are in need of the following:

  • Beads, string, and pipe cleaners (colorful ones)

  • Coloring books and crayons

  • Bubble wands (the long wand ones from the Dollar Store work so much better than the ones where you have to fish out the wand)

  • Any other small craft kits

  • Soccer balls

  • Soccer shorts (various sizes for kids)

  • Soccer socks (various sizes for kids)

  • Agility ladders

  • Pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners

  • Stickers

  • Thick patio chalk

  • Nice hand towels

  • Hot pad holders

  • Wooden spoons
